Greetings All Sweet Reggae Music Followers!
Here is an update on the blog as of January 2023, unfortunately we just haven't had the time to really give the blog the attention it needs and maintain any real consistency.
We have decided for now to keep the original posts published for those who wish to read the articles, discographies, track lists and other information.
Please be aware that all download links are currently unavailable as of January 2023.
Hopefully when time allows we can continue to add to this blog with new posts and update / amend any previous ones in the future. As always you can contact us by email pipecockjackxonrrm@gmail.com
Or on Facebook as Pipecock Jackxon or by leaving a comment below.
Keep on digging in those crates and discover more Reggae treasures for the world to hear!
Sweet Rare Reggae Music Blog.
You know this is torture, right? Reading the articles and seeing collections of music that I may have missed the first time can be aggravating. Oh, well, its great to have you back...respect!

ReplyDeletethanks crazzybear
Hi Crazzy, thanks for the comment, hopefully we can find a way to make links available to these recordings once more.
DeleteCheck back again soon.
Sweet Rare Reggae Music.
Uploading the material has been the main issue really, it's not our strong point and has always been the most troublesome aspect of the blog.
ReplyDeleteCreating the articles, sourcing the recordings, compiling the albums etc... is the fun part but making them available for others to hear is the problem.
We are considering using YouTube to upload playlists in video form with links from each article.
DeleteDoes anybody have an opinion on this being an option?
Thanks for the update, Pipecock. The YouTube option probably wouldn't be of much interest to me...I listen to music almost exclusively on my iPhone (mp3) and often find myself in areas where web reception is troublesome. But who knows...things change.
DeleteThere's something really weird about reading the older posts and coming upon comments I wrote 11 years ago! This site and it's music has meant much to me over that time. Thanks again for all you do!
ReplyDeleteThat's so nice to hear Buddha, thank you.
DeleteI was just reading the comments on our Junjo Lawes post and all the controversy and the 'back-and-forth' I'd had with Scientist and Dubby Doo at the time, such a strange situation!
I really do hope we can get this blog back on track and make it possible for others to hear this music.
Fingers crossed!
I just find out that you've return.
ReplyDeleteMany, many thanks for coming back, even without download links and some older posts.
Great to see you got back. Best reggae blog ever, bless you. Hope you are doing well, and to see the Blog continue in the future. Peace, Chris.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm all for that YouT... playlist, sounds great. Peace, Chris
ReplyDeletePipecock, does anyone of you still follow the comments or the e-mails? Best Chris
